BioMed Health Center
Biomed Health Center was built on a simple idea: your biology is the best medicine. Instead of masking symptoms, the doctors here investigate what is driving them, drawing on a deep understanding of each patient’s unique biology, and select natural therapies to support it.
At BioMed Health Center, we optimize health through the integration of conventional medical care and progressive natural health solutions. Our model of practicing naturopathic medicine in San Diego combines functional lab analysis with innovative, science-based therapies to help patients achieve meaningful and lasting results. Every treatment plan is designed to strengthen the body’s natural ability to restore balance and improve overall well-being.
We proudly serve our patients in the La Jolla and greater San Diego area, along with offering simple telehealth solutions for out of towners!
Featured Services
Biomed Health Center offers a focused set of naturopathic treatment programs, from IV therapy and ozone therapy to hormone and gut health care, each built on lab testing rather than guesswork. Explore our services to see the complete list and what each program includes.
What Is Naturopathic Medicine?
Naturopathic medicine is a system of primary care that treats the underlying cause of illness rather than suppressing its symptoms. Naturopathic doctors complete four-year, accredited doctoral programs covering the same basic and clinical sciences as conventional medical school, plus training in clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, and lifestyle counseling. In California, NDs are licensed by the state’s Naturopathic Medicine Committee. At Biomed Health Center, that training is paired with functional lab analysis to build treatment plans around your biology, not a template.
Conditions Treated by Our San Diego Naturopathic Doctors
Patients typically come to the clinic after standard workups came back “normal” but they still don’t feel right. These are the concerns the doctors work with most, each backed by a dedicated treatment program.
Hormone, Thyroid & Menopause Care
Hormonal symptoms are treated from lab data, starting with comprehensive testing rather than assumptions. That includes menopause and perimenopause care for women navigating the transition, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy when labs show replacement is the right tool. Patients with thyroid disorders receive thyroid support with iodine supplementation, while younger women benefit from targeted menstrual cycle support.
Gut Health & Digestive Disorders
Bloating, food sensitivities, and chronic GI discomfort usually trace back to imbalances that standard testing misses. Gut and stool analysis identifies what is actually happening in your digestive tract before treatment begins.
Chronic Illness: Mold Toxicity, Lyme & Autoimmunity
Complex chronic conditions are a core focus of the practice. The doctors treat mold toxicity and Lyme disease and coinfections, two conditions frequently missed in conventional settings, and support patients managing autoimmunity with the same root-cause approach.
Fatigue, Detox & Low Energy
When energy stays low despite normal labs, rebuilding capacity starts with clearing what drags it down. Liver detoxification and lymphatic drainage programs address the toxic load, while IV nutrient therapy delivers what your cells need directly.
Fertility & Preconception Support
Couples preparing for pregnancy get targeted lab work and fertility and preconception support designed to optimize both partners’ health before conception.
Adjunctive Cancer Care
For patients undergoing conventional cancer treatment, adjunctive oncology care supports strength, resilience, and quality of life alongside your oncologist’s plan, never in place of it.
Holistic Doctors in San Diego for Whole-Person Care
Many patients find the clinic searching for a holistic doctor or a natural doctor in San Diego. Both describe what Dr. Feagan and Dr. Ng practice: medicine that looks at the whole person, including diet, sleep, stress, environment, and lab markers, before deciding on treatment. Holistic does not mean unscientific. Every protocol at Biomed Health Center starts with objective data from comprehensive blood work analysis and functional testing, then combines natural therapies with conventional medical care where appropriate. The result is a plan built for your body, reviewed and adjusted as your labs and symptoms change.
Functional & Integrative Medicine Approach
Functional medicine asks why a symptom exists; integrative medicine combines the best of natural and conventional treatment to resolve it. Biomed Health Center practices both. Initial visits include a full health history and comprehensive lab work, and follow-ups translate those results into a personalized protocol. Depending on your case, that may include IV therapy to restore what your body is missing, ozone therapy and UBI for immune and cellular support, or hormone balancing when your levels drive the symptoms. Patients keep their existing physicians; this care is designed to work alongside them, not replace them.
Why Patients Choose Biomed Health Center
Plenty of clinics in San Diego offer natural therapies. What sets this one apart comes down to who the doctors are, how treatment decisions get made, and how much of your care happens under one roof.
Bastyr-Trained Naturopathic Doctors, Practicing Where They Studied
Dr. Anna Feagan and Dr. Garek Ng met during medical school at Bastyr University here in San Diego, completed four years of clinical rotations together, and co-founded Biomed Health Center around a shared philosophy: find the cause, treat the cause. When you book a visit, you see one of the founding physicians, not a rotating provider.
The two doctors bring complementary depth to every case. Dr. Feagan focuses on men’s and women’s hormonal health, gut health, and regenerative injection therapies, with additional post-doctoral training in IV therapy, ozone therapy, prolotherapy, and hormone replacement. Dr. Ng builds treatment around nutrition, lifestyle, and natural hormone support, an approach he grew up with in his father’s holistic medical clinic in Detroit.

Testing, Treatment, and Follow-Through in One Clinic
Diagnostics and treatment happen under one roof, starting with comprehensive blood work analysis instead of guesswork. Prescribed supplements arrive as MedPax personalized daily packs, so protocols are followed, not forgotten. Between visits, patients track results and message the clinic through the online patient portal. Every new patient relationship starts with a free 15-minute consultation, in person in La Jolla or by telehealth.
